Chapter IV THE CHRISTIAN LIFE OF THE APOSTOLIC CHURCH LIVING ABOVE SIN The popular Christianity of our time has for hundreds of years been so thoroughly imbued with the tradition that no one can live above sin that even many scholars believe it, without investigating the evidence. Now we grant that it is impossible to prove to unbelievers that Christians can live above sin, for that is a matter of personal experience so utterly subjective and personal that it lies beyond logical proof or disproof.
